A Night Divided Jennifer A. Nielsen
This wonderful historical fiction is about
a twelve year old girl named Greta. Her family was suddenly divided by the
Berlin Wall's sudden uprising. She was living life on the eastern side of
Berlin with her mother, father, and older brothers. When her father and her
brother Dominic go to the western side of Berlin in search for work, the wall
goes up. One day on her way to school, Greta saw her dad on a platform doing an
odd dance. Later after school that day she starts to tunnel beneath the wall.
Even though she knew that if the Soviets found out the consequences would be
deadly. Will the family reunite or get caught?
If you like books that have suspense, adventure,
and some mystery this is the book for you.
